Another day...

Hello everyone!
We have lots of updates to share. First, I passed the Indiana Bar Exam and was sworn in as an attorney on OCtober 17, 2008. It was a long road to get here and I could not have done it without Matt and our families. Thank you to them!
I was also sworn in as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Hamilton County. I love the work and it is extremely gratifying!
Matt is finishing up law school and seems to enjoy IU-Indy.
Nicholas is growing so fast. He is walking and talking now (mama, dada, baba, kitty, and hi). He is pretty cute. You can see him on youtube.com--just search for hkestian. He has quite a few videos of himself. Like TO says "I love me some ME!"

More to come later!

He can pull himself up

Nicholas is growing like a weed! He has managed to figure out how to pull himself up to standing when he is next to an object. I swear he is going to be walking anyday now. He can sit up on his own and everyday is a new adventure for him.

He is also sleeping through the nights now. Good for mommy and daddy, and good for a growing boy!

BabyKestian was hacked

After all the work done by Stacy Adkins, some jerk decided that it was fun to hack a website made to celebrate the birth of a child. Apparently, nothing is off limits these days. It really isn't all that impressive to hack into a low security website--so whomever did it--your skills aren't at all impressive and it is mean-spirited to hack into a website made for a child. Shame on you.

On to other news, Matt, Nicholas and I moved to Indiana (insert song tune "Back home again, in Indiana") in order to be closer to babysitting services (read "free babysitting services"). It is nice to be close to family and to be in the #1 county in the US to raise a family (see Forbes Top 100 here: http://www.forbes.com/2008/06/27/schools-places-family-forbeslife-cz_zg_0630realestate.html).

Matt is at Ice Miller LLP for the summer and he will find out whether he has a permanent offer in a few weeks.

Heather is working for the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office, which she loves! It is a great place to work and it feels good to be helping the community and engaging in public service.

Nicholas spends his days rolling over, "crawling", exercising his vocal cords (he can say ma-ma-ma), and putting everything he can get his mittens on in his mouth. (The photo above is of Nicholas, our toothless wonder!)

Summer is treating us well and we are enjoying our new digs!
